We really branched out with this one! Inspired by a 60’s Russian dollhouse belonging to Galine (bass, vocals), we wanted to make a miniature world for seablite. Not satisfied with simply buying pieces online, I reached out to some of the coolest artists making miniature sculptures here in Chicago: itty bitty mini (m)art and asked if we could work together.

In Chicago, I built and styled the rooms of the house filled with and inspired by original pieces made by Margie Criner and Brian Schuth of itty bitty mini (m)art. In SF, Kevin Wood filmed the band against white backdrops per my shot lists. Back in my basement, I filmed scenes inside the rooms with my iPhone. In Premiere and After Effects, I merged the band into the dollhouse.
